It's one of the biggest styles trending both on the runway and on the street, and after seeing the collections from New York Fashion Week, we'll be seeing many more midsections thanks to the cropped top.
Whereas before the crop trend was more focused on exposing the top half of your tummy (waist, and abs if you're lucky enough to have them) by wearing crops with a high-waisted pant or skirt, many of the pieces coming off the runway from NYFW are going that little bit further and going the full tum.
One of the most important pieces advice anyone can be given in regards to personal style is to tailor trends to suit your body type and personality, and this is a great example. Unfortunately we don't all have the physiques of the women pictured above so if you do want to give this one a crack, make sure you're focusing on your best assets. The fourth picture above shows a great way to wear this trend if you're on the shy side, as it only exposes a very thin section but still creates the right effect.
