AW 2013

Now that the cooler weather has hit Melbourne (hit me pretty hard coming home from 35 degrees in Byron Bay & Gold Coast, to 20 in Melbourne!). I'm looking pretty hard at my winter wardrobe and realising how useless it will be once winter takes hold.
I'm currently concentrating on ensuring that I have quality, timeless, staple pieces to see me through this winter (and probably a couple more).
If you're going to be spending money on good quality pieces you want to ensure that they're going to be lasting you a while and not specifically 'trend-oriented', as they won't last you as long.
The staples that I'll be looking for include a wool coat, simple black jeans, a few pairs of ankle boots, long sleeved tops and woolen knitwear to keep me toasty!
So here's my winter wishlist of staples to see me through the colder months:

1. Wool Coat

2. Black Skinny Jeans

3. Ankle Boots

4. Leather Pants
(Ok, this is more trend-driven than an actual staple requirement, but they're so gorgeous how can I resist?)

5. Long sleeved tops & knitwear

What are your winter essentials?

  1. Love these items, they are all so simple and stylish! Would you like to follow each other? :)

  2. We are moving into spring in Europe and you are welcoming cooler weather :)

  3. It's great to be warm and snuggly in these cute outfit choices, but what about those of us who have to brave the wet weather? Any waterproof winter winners out there to keep us stylish and dry? :)
